This penny is so wierd, its half silver and in my opinion Lincoln's ear looks huge. So what do you think about the coin?

    rickmp Frequently flatulent.

The copper plating is peeling. Your coin is copper plated zinc. The copper plate is extremely thin.

from what I read, be careful about doing this as it produces a poison gas as a by product of the reaction.
