BTW, where did you find this poor baby? I hope not roll searching. Looks like the classic laundry dryer coin, or like @eddiespin said, "garbage disposal".

 

I get quarters like that in machine wrapped rolls from time to time. It amazes me that they make it through the sorting process. Then when I dump my coins, I can't get the machine to accept it. I've got a pocketful of bashed up coins now. Need to offload them somehow.

Rolled, stomped on, ground down, hit, slammed, chewed and anything else you can think of. LOL

 

Flatten them with a hammer or something, maybe that will help.
