Think these would grade at PCGS?

    Opinions on these two Morgan dollars? Do you think they would grade at PCGS?
    My opinion... I think the top one might go XF45 and the bottom probably GENUINE due to an old cleaning. Wish that second one was a little darker.

    coin number 2 has rim damage, so it may only grade genuine, the top one should grade, I see no reason to think it's been cleaned, or otherwise compromised

    I agree, 1 yes , 2 no. Those aren't really worth grading, in my opinion. Unless they have sentimental value to you.

    There are only 38 of the VAM 14.13 graded in ANACS, NGC & PCGS combined. I believe there are only 3 or so in MS grades. For the most recent sale, VAMWorld lists one in a PCGS Genuine slab at $1326 which sold on 3/13/2010.

    You said it Chris! The 14.20 ... the cleaned one... is worth even more. Less than a dozen known to exist.
