Im kinda new at the coin collecting thing and I have a tin full of post 1900 us coins ( wheaties, halves, bufflos, quarters ect.) and I was wondering what I should look for. One of the wheaties has a streak of gold on the front and a identical one on the back (Some type of error?).Are there rare dates I should look for? errors? Any help on what to look for would be apreciated.

If you could post some clear pictures it would help out alot. A good idea for you would be to purchase a "Red Book" aka "A Guide Book of United States Coins" by R.S. Yeoman. There are some rare dates in post-1900 coins but it really depends on what you have and their grades. Try to post some pictures if you can or at least list some dates and mintmarks of each coin. Mintmarks can be in various places and would be either on the obverse (front) or reverse (back) of the coin and could be either of the following...P (Philadelphia, no mintmark), D (Denver), S (San Francisco), O (New Orleans) and CC (Carson City).

I can't see where he suggested that they didn't. Re-read the post.
