I recieved my new Error Trends Coin Magazine today and there is a page that Fred Weinberg does different numismatic reports from varius conventions and such. This report was from the Heritage Galleries of Dallas. In his words, " And the highlight during the Platinum Night Auction, was a previously unknown 1913 Type 2 Buffalo Nickel struck on a Silver Dime Planchet, a spectacular NGC MS-66. It sold for $46,000. I was the underbidder on this piece, and I'm sure in the future that I'll be sorry I didn't bid more on it." Its hard to tell how many masterpieces have been tucked away by your parents and grandparents. They're still out there, have fun searching...
