On eBay that coin is premium "error" material, worth considerably more than 100k.

 

The outer layer is called the Clad Layer. Composed of Cupronickel.
It is not missing but it has Environmental Exposure toning/damage.

Are you trying to lower the value of my valuable error? If portions of the outer layers aren't there then they are missing from the coin.

My beautiful million dollar coin, that is.
