A D and a S? This 1944 has an obvious San Francisco mint mark, but right below it slightly to the right sitting on the edge of the coin appears to be the letter D. I know you guys have some feed back for me. Better yet educate me if you would. So far everything I submitted turned out to be nothing of real value so far, so my guess is that it's probably just some sort of die clash or something that is no big deal as usual, but I think I will save it anyway because I love wheaties, and the fact that it's a 44 .
It's a dent. Bigger and pointing in a different direction than the one above the date, but just a dent. Damage. But, yeah, I'll keep every S-mint Wheatie I come across.
