A D and a S? This 1944 has an obvious San Francisco mint mark, but right below it slightly to the right sitting on the edge of the coin appears to be the letter D. I know you guys have some feed back for me. Better yet educate me if you would. So far everything I submitted turned out to be nothing of real value so far, so PicsArt_11-01-06.46.31.jpg PicsArt_11-01-06.46.31.jpg my guess is that it's probably just some sort of die clash or something that is no big deal as usual, but I think I will save it anyway because I love wheaties, and the fact that it's a 44 .

It's a dent. Bigger and pointing in a different direction than the one above the date, but just a dent. Damage.

But, yeah, I'll keep every S-mint Wheatie I come across.

It appears your coin has took a hit at some point (damage).
