..metal detecting for old coins. Yesterday was a bad day. First off it was way to hot out to be metal detecting but the weekends are the only time I can get out so off I went. Hit an old church site that I had been to before hoping to find a couple scraggliers. This was all I could squeak out. Oh well, like anything, gotta take the good with the bad.
The weatie is a 1919 s and the little pin is a world war two battle ship. Gotta line up some new sites for next weekend and I hope the weather is better.
Anyone need any 1916 wheaties that were dug up? I find a ton of that year for some reason. Jim

You've got the fever. I need to make time and get out to some of my favorite areas and a few new ones. Great finds overall :)

Jim, amazing how a copper coin can be in the ground that long and still look half way decent.
