Buy the holder, not the coin.......... Wait six months and the prices will come back to earth. Or, better yet, buy the set from the mint and leave it in OGP.
Actually, don't even buy the coin. Or, let me rephrase it, don't buy THAT coin, or any other modern commems for that matter. There are so many more interesting older coins out there that you can pick up, some for even less money, why would people waste their money on modern commems?
I've spent a few Kennedys in my life, not many though. Probably gotten less than 20 in change over the years. I've never bought a Kennedy and if I haven't by now I probably won't. So I don't know much about them but to answer the question I think they'll do like all the rest. I'll say less than a week after the first PCGS70 hits Ebay. Ebay will be swamped with graded ones before Thanksgiving
But when we have to start paying for our heating bills in silver backed currency some day after we are forced back into the anti-fiat stone age of paying for things with rocks (elemental metals), these NIFC collectibles we paid so much for in paper and debt will come in handy... whereas we'll still be getting laughed at for holding onto our beanie babies encrusted with our body odor from clutching them to keep warm.
I'll have you know that both collections (Beanies & Commems) look smashing when viewed side by side.......
