I ain't goin out without a big bang... Just won it.. Best AU58 3 Legger I've seen in my hard searches..
So you said there was something special about, that made it one of a kind, BNB, care telling us what that is?
Nice coin BNB. Heritage probably has a larger image if someone would wish to go out and grab it. I'm too lazy right now.
"The Time is Over.. BNB Retires.." That was quick. Too bad, really, because at least judging by your latest NEWP, you're starting to get the hang of things. Nice coin....Mike
Wow, I was just about to say the same thing Mike. That is the nicest coin I have seen BNB post yet. Good luck in your retirement. My money says longer than Iverson and shorter than the baseball playing Michael Jordan.
Thank you and thank you.. I made posts up to this Dec 3 point about my retirement before, so definitely check those out that way you don't think this is a total surprise. Yes, I agree, this is the nicest coin I've posted yet even though I don't and won't own it until after Xmas day.. Still good to know I have it in my possession soon. Paid $1495 which I think is out of this world for a coin of that beauty. Could pass as MS but do I really want to regrade it? Who knows..
One of the first truly pricey coins that I ever bought was a 3-leg in nice AU. I still have that coin, and learned a lot from the purchase. I hope that yours brings you as much pleasure, BNB.
......very very nice coin! i must say, one really has to strain their eyes to find any rub keeping it from mint state unc.
Thanks guys.. I think I really went out with a bag given my current budget.. I think I'm gonna CAC this baby up!
That was the original 3 legger I wanted back on Oct. 24th, but thankfully I lost it by 1 bid increment. This new one took its place and I don't think I'm regretting it. I like this one I got over that gold toned one.. What about you?
Oh my, I wish there was a smilie that shook his head. BNB, your coin is very obviously a slider that could easily be mistaken for a mint state coin. There is absolutely no reason to have the CAC sticker your coin to confirm what everyone already knows. The CAC is very useful in determining the difference between A-B-C coins within a given mint state grade. Once the coin has wear and drops into the AU category, the benefits of CAC approval are diminished IMO.
Ah I see.. Maybe I won't then.. Do you think I should consider resubmitting this once I get it in a few weeks to PCGS or NGC and hope it might come back MS?
