As far as the shirts go Rick, I prefer a pocketed Golf Shirt with logo above the pocket (just like the pictures above, only different type of shirt). Not a T-shirt but something I am more likely to wear beyond my never ending yard work. T-shirts for me are around the house shirts while polo shirts are for any time outside of work or a formal event. JMO

I would also prefer the golf shirt it that was an option.

Guy's I can price them.. as you know there is a set up charge for the Art Work..and a minimum order of 24. My neighbor owns a shoppe and I will check with him if Peter will not allow us to add on.. It will cost more, tha's for sure.

I would expect to pay more for a nice polo versus a T but it would be good to know what the difference is (sorry for the extra leg work) to make a decision on which would be a better option.

Darryl.. it's no problem.. cost will dictate what everyone wants and I can post the actual quote when I get one. I have yet to hear from Peter so I will ask my neighbor. With Golf shirts, would everyone want the larger logo on the back or just the smaller logo on the upper left breast or have it on both like depicted??

Me personally, I like the small logo on the front only. LOL - I like to say I am understated but always seem to come off as something totally different... I still tell my wife I am shy, LOL - and now she just laughs at me, even though I am serious when I say it. to quote one of the greatest - Mr. D - no respect...

For the golf shirt, just the smaller logo on the front. For the t's I like it with both front and back.

Perhaps we can look into piggybacking the t-shirt idea onto Peter's run of CT shirts and a short run of the golf shirts, with the logo on the breast pocket alone. These shirts would look best with only a logo on the front pocket and as is often the case with knit wear, these would likely be embroidered, per my understanding of how these shirts are finished.

    1) printed tee with front and back graphics

    2) (possible) short run of knit style golf tee with embroidered logo over front breast pocket region

I will put my stamp of approval on this since the issue I had with dates is being sorted out in another thread.

I did have one thought as a future idea for where to take the group last night. You have noted several times that you wanted to look at collecting these articles and trying to get them published. Well, why not put them out as an electronic periodical. This could be a PDF of the groups writings on a bi-monthly or quarterly basis. You already have the basic set up with 2-3 people writing "feature articles" in the form of presentations and you could then have each other member write an article for inclusion in the file.

Just a thought on where we can go with this in the new year after seeing how the rest of this year goes.

These are all good ideas. Like ikandiggit and Krispy said a Tee with both front and back and a Golf with just the front are both good options. Money is the only issue for me at the moment.

And not to get into the logo debate but what do you think about putting the year on it?
