This one is a goodie! Liberty nickel fans will be drooling! I see a filled 7070 hole or two out of this one. https://www.auctionzip.com/cgi-bin/showimage.cgi?lid=3217204&type=at&in=1 If you see what you like, contact them. They DO take remote bids, and will even phone bid for you. IMO their raw coin grades are stout.
I'll be there and I'll report it. But yes, generally speaking, if you call them after the sale, they WILL let you know the winning hammer price. If anyone else is just curious about a particular lot, let me know HERE ON THIS THREAD and I'll write it down. Good thing there's another paycheck between now and the 26th. If it gets snowed out on the 26th, there're TWO paychecks! So far: CoinCorgi wants to know about Lot 203. My guess as I sit here today? Probably $2150-ish, maybe as low as $1750. It's over 200 lots in. They'll be warmed up by then. Oh, PA is a "no sales tax on coins" state. Medals and currency notes net of face are taxable. Example: if you pay $15 for a $5 note you want, the extra $10 is taxable.
Hey could you watch Lot 94 1807 Draped Bust VG details. Even though they don't specify what problem there is. Which is silly IMHO
This is definitely one of the more interesting auction lists (at least for me it’s more interesting) that you’ve posted so far. They have quite a few bust quarters, which is my favorite series. The 1804 dime is especially interesting, since it’s a pretty scarce date (probably fewer than 200 exist). If it does in fact have four berries on the reverse, that would mean it’s the 14 star reverse. This one is the rarer of the two varieties, and there are probably fewer than 50 of them (PCGS estimates 20, but I think that’s a bit low). Assuming it’s graded properly and not cleaned, damaged, etc., I would be surprised if it sold for less than $10,000.
203 for CoinCorgi. 94 for CoinBlazer. (+ report the problem) 44 for NSP. The paper list they sent me by snailmail has three columns, so there are only three sheets. I'll take my Sony a6000 with the Canon 50mm Micro mounted and try to get you shots, too.
