You should download the American Advisor podcasts from goldline international. Joe Batallia talked about this on his radio program like a week and a half ago.

He noted how they did something similar at a summit like this with the Euro. It was presented to World leaders as a commemorative coin and everyone got a chance to see one. About 12 months later it was implemented.

They may not be able to ram this one through that fast but in 5 years, who knows what could happen.

It's an ugly coin. A very ugly coin.

I really like the idea. Exchanging money while traveling is a big hassle and also union currency like Euro being a success; I don't see anything wrong in it.

Although I agree with Cloudsweeper99....that's one very ugly coin.

Aint there somewhere in Revalation or another prophecy passage that says one world currency is a major sign of the end of times?

    Just Curious....

:whistle:It's the end of the world as we know it, it's the end of the world as we know, it's the end of the world as we know it....and I feel fine....

Seems that this "expert" does not know much, to put it mildly, about the history of the euro. And I think that is also how serious comments in the US about this supposed "world currency" should be taken ...

Another post is here. And yes, it is not attractive - but it is neither a coin nor collectible. ;)

This is howgwash. Here in the New York area that website used to hire shills to call into the local sports talk radio shows and give out THAT EXACT WEBSITE claiming it had something to do with sports. It's a site run by some crackpot named Frank who believes in every nutty conspiracy theory that exists.

I wouldn't trust that website to give me the correct time of day. Whatever is on that site is not to be trusted. It is not an authoritative source for anything whatsoever. They're not beyond making stuff up to push their own twisted agenda. Completely untrustworthy.
