These are plating blisters right? I haven't seen them so big and extreme as these before? Is it a "keeper"? Or just more junk?
Yes it is Plating Blisters but caused by environmental damage. There are Plating Blisters that do occur at the US Mint during the milling process of a Cent but not this Cent. You ask if it's a keeper? It's up to you what you want to do with it.. to me it's ugly! Thanks for sharing.
Yes, they are plating blisters. I agree with @paddyman98: the coin has severe environmental damage. I bet if you pricked one of those blisters, you'd find a lot of rotting zinc underneath. IMO it's a spender.
