The first chip looks like it might be from a different die because of the way it angles inward from bottom to top. Also, I think the only way you could tell if the 2nd & 3rd breaks came from the same die would be if there was some other anomaly, i.e. die gouge, crack, etc. in another location on the same side of the coin. Keep in mind that millions upon millions of these were struck, and die failures were very common. Chris
I agree completely. they look like a family. ....and being you say the first may be from another... it's the mom and pop rim cud that adopted a die chip
