    Oh... speaking of dangerous mistakes involving the feeding of fluffy kittens: remember that whole thing about me giving Flash some of my pork fried rice last night? (See pix above)

    Well, this morning he is again curled up next to me, all sweetly snoozing.

    Awwww. :cat:

    Except... he is wafting out the most horrific silent-but-violent cat farts imaginable.

    I wish I was making that last part up. Ugh. :yuck:

    Of course, Flash might not be the only one with Fried Rice Farts... :rolleyes:

    Yeah, come to think of it, you getting blasted on vintage Jack-and-Cokes (remember where the early version of "Coke" got its name) and then riding the Ferris wheel twice was probably not the best idea, either. Not as disastrous as the cotton-candy-kitten incident, perhaps, but potentially problematic to the people below when you get near the top...

    @lordmarcovan @Curtisimo - Funny, I was thinking that "Coca-Cola" must have been around at that time and that if I could have one, I certainly would drink that medicinal beverage right now because my 'get up and go' got up and went! I need some pep right about now - ohhhh...Pep, si? Siiii!

    Wouldn't that change the history of the taser and have it renamed the Teslar? Pretty much sounds the same but has an L in there.

    Thanks, when I found the coin it was in a little box and I think that is why it toned so nicely. I'm not sure if it was an original box from the fair, it was meant to hold a coin but it looks like it was meant to hold a quarter. So the half was just loose in it causing a few slide marks on it (look on the obverse around 3 'o' clock).

    I've been tased before (willingly as part of an instruction class), by the 5 second long one, and I'll tell you that was the longest 5 seconds of my life. I had mini flashbacks every time I stepped over a power cable for a good month or two.

    Whiskey? How do you guys get that stuff to go down your throats? I just can't do it! I tried twice and my nose won't let me open my throat. I am amazed when I see people enjoying whiskey, (bourbon, scotch - all that kind of stuff) as if it were refreshing and delicious. Well, I guess that is what makes the world go 'round. Different strokes for different folks!

    I see it now, fields missing some luster. Shame, but still a cool coin. It could very well be from the event, which would make it all the more cooler.

    Don't worry. I read somewhere that you vampires are immune to tasers. Won't hurt a bit.

    Hmm. Then again, we are talking about a 19th century taser prototype built by Tesla himself.

    OK, it might sting just a little bit. ;)
