I have had a few conversations with members here regarding my Avatar so I decided to do this post. When I put my IHC collection together I decided on XF or better. When I completed the set I was resigned to the G4 1877 I had because of the price of a XF specimen. I found this coin listed in Europe for €350 . After watching it for a couple of weeks I sent the seller a email asking if they would take €250 as the coin was damaged and they sent a counter offer of €275 and I of course accepted. At that time that equaled about $300 US. (I have $306 ship included written on the 2x2 it is in) I was overjoyed to get it. I don't collect holed coins but I am rather fond of this one. My AU 1877 has a hole in it, I am thankful to have one at all.
