The Griffin Warrior of Pylos

    If you haven't seen this yet, here's an interesting article about a dig at the Temple of Nestor in Pylos where a Mycenaean warrior was found with Minoan treasure.

    Semi interesting? Very interesting. Love the portrait of Caracalla on the second coin and the reverse on the first coin.

    Thanks for the positive comments! I find Peloponnesian AE some of the most interesting and they do have a style of their own.
