    Howdy folks,
So, you've noticed the "Gameroom" tab on the top. I've had many questions about the credits too. The two are interconnected in a way. Way back, many months ago, I started using a system that gave "credits" to members and had started setting up a system to let people buy ads and had plans to integrate a classifieds system to it all too. But, a few months back, the coders who made the credits system had some kind of fall out, so now there are two parallel versions of the credits system.

Now, I've already put a couple hundred dollars and lots of my time into the credits system, so I was not at all happy to see what was going on with them. Needless to say, I don't want to throw good money and time after bad. I don't want to post a link to the competing credits sites, but if you're interested send me a pm and I'll show you. I'm going to either wait and see what happens with the credits feud, or convert the credits over to one of the competing systems (there are a couple of viable ones). We'll see where that takes us.

Because the credits system seemed so popular, I had been looking around at other features that would integrate into it and enhance our community. That brought me to the 'Gameroom' that you see added today. The Gameroom utilizes the credits system for some of the games. Poker for example, you can bet your credits. If you go into the Gameroom, you should see all of your credits still there. I'm going to have to figure out something for newer members who hadn't accumulated any credits before I had to turn it off, though. So, enjoy the Gameroom, and keep an eye out for what's coming next. :)

That is the message I get when I try to get into the gameroom.

Also, I'm interested to see how this all plays out...oh, and how many hands of poker Paul will play... :D

I appreciate the effort, but I can play none of the solo games. They all seem to be functional, but at least something needed for a complete game is off the window to the right or bottom.

I'm all over it! No problems here, maybe some instructions if there's any worth posting...

Which game do you need instruction on?

I don't really know the rules of video poker games in general and I'm not the best at what the suits are. The slots, BJ, roulette I get. I wish there was a 'stop' button on the slots and something that shows "you win" or green color = win, red color = lost sort of indicator on some games. I guess just some general overview as opposed to trial-by-error approach to understanding how things work. It's all easy enough, just looking to circumvent the learning curve I guess. Thanks.

Today was the first time that I went into the Gameroom. I like that there is a lobby area to chat with other posters.

I think a lot of your problems are what I commented on. There is more to just about every game off the right end of the window (roulette is off the bottom). For instance, I split on BJ, but then I could not get to anything to continue.

Yea, the fun part about the Gameroom is that you can interact. The solo games are fun for about five minute or so, but if you get some good games of Texas Holdem going with some fellow collectors, that will be more fun. :)

Thanks for adding the chat feature. I like it already. :smile

You can also use the Gameroom to transfer credits. That use to be done in the old credits system, and those features don't work anymore. The good thing is that if there are anyone who got down to zero credits I can put some back on your account so you can play more. lol

Thanks. I did notice the credit transfer system, but unless you are letting members use the credits for advertising in the future I doubt that I will be giving away my credits to Joe for the fundraiser since I need to gamble now. LOL!

There's a chance that the guys who created the credits modules will get their act together and fix up the stuff they made and then I'd reinstall it on CoinTalk, but I wouldn't let that remote possibility get in the way of a good game of Holdem. ;)

Is there any sort of instruction available for how games are used? For instance Battleship, is it dependent upon a second player. I have entered the room, but no one else is there. I cannot set up my playing field with ships. Is there a way besides PMing members to initiate games?

Multi-player games typically work best with more than one player.

    Yes, I'd presume so... :smile
