The first that I’ve received.

Yeah... okay... treading lightly cause I know how I can get all riled up.

I don’t exactly believe Canada. Don’t have much faith in its lawmakers nor courts. I believe in equality just not in the selective equality that is passed off as righteous. I feel most bids for equality are more geared towards role reversals. You’d have to understand my experience with the divorce and child custody courts here to fully understand but...

I received, in store change, my first Equality Dollar Coin. The coloured version I think is pretty nasty looking. The regular coin is alright I guess. The roll must have just been cracked open because it looks fairly decent. I’ll keep it because it’s my first.

What do you think of this new coin from the Canadian mint?

Yeah, I don’t know still... I’m wavering heavily on the design of this coin even in the short few moments in the construction of the post.

Different..kind of reminds me of the US Pres dollar coins. How big is it relative to US coins? If I got 1 in change I'd keep it.

That's worse looking than US coins.

It is the size of a regular Canadian loonie, not sure what that converts to American.

Meh. Not a huge fan of modern art masquerading as a coin design; I much prefer the classic designs, like those on the 1907-1933 gold coinage or the 1916 redesign for the dime, quarter, and half dollar.

When these type coins, the loonie type, get into circulation for a little bit, they look horrible! I only have a very select few loonies Ive saved.

I don’t know when the design started nor stopped but, for Canadian nickels, for example, I prefer the ‘30’s variety to the beaver. I’ve never liked our loonie and our toonies are almost as bad.
