I've been wanting to post this for a while, here is from my deposit box, the whole collection!!
sorry I didn't get close-ups of everything, like my 1877 cent, 1914 D cent, proof 1918 S cent, 1853 3 cent, and others, but heres a good look of what I got over the years. Hope you enjoy!!!!

Wow, either way, I'd like to see that.

 

To the best of my knowledge there are no branch mint Lincoln Proofs until 1968.

Therefore the coin may be proof-like, which unfortunately is not really proof-like because the proofs of that era (which BTW were only minted until 1916) are matte proof coins and wouldn't feature a mirror finish like the proofs of today but have an orange peel appearance to the surfaces.

 

Nice collection !, but if I might offer a suggestion to lose the rubber bands. Rubber bands have sulfur in them and are notorious for affecting coins. I see they are in holders, but even the holders are not air tight. In a small enclosed SDB , the effects could occur quicker.

I can attest to what desertgem is talking about and suggesting for you. In the past, I kept regular silver bullion 1oz coins in individual flips, bound in groups with rubber bands in my SDB, which is about the size of your SDB. The rubber bands held the flip close against the silver which resulted in striped areas of toning in that region that I attributed to the flip and rubber band materials. These were just bullion rounds and bars, not collector/valuable coins, but it was a lesson learned-- lucky that I didn't keep my coins in there at the time I was using rubber bands. Dump the rubber bands, very good suggestion.

 

Yeah, they didn't make any 1918-S Proofs, but a PL would be sweet. I'd love to see a picture of that!

Looks like you have a bit more room to squeeze some more gold in.

 

One STRONG recommendation.
Remove ALL the rubber bands from the safe deposit box.
Coins and rubber bands don't get along together at all.
I believe they are synthetic rubber and sulfur is a significant component.
DEFINITELY not good.

Thanks about the rubber band suggestion, I go back in the next day or so and take care of it, then I take some more pics of the cool stuff I left out, (didn't have much time to take pics, the girlfriend wanted to wait in the truck, at a 100 degrees outside, and I got the 3d degree for taking to long) Yikes!!!!!!!

I would hope this one coin is not the basis of the whole of my collection, I found it was pretty hard to get good close-up pics, the second picture is what the true color of the coin looks like in the flesh. I'll post more from the collection later tonight. all scratch marks are from the air-tights.
