..on a cool piece of history like this....I was trying to think of a way to tie this find into coins so I could show it off on this forum....kind of a stretch but I just had to show it. I found this about 4 years back. Its been I.D'd as a war of 1812 officers sword belt plate. My coolest relic find ever. Found some real neat old coins at the same spot this was found. I keep a journal of stuff dug up and where. I like looking back at it now and then. Look at the cannons and other detail on this thing. Neat stuff. I have some other non related coin cool finds but I'll just show this one. If its allowed that is. We shall see. Jim
