I have decided to sell the "Controversy coin".

The 1989 Lincoln cent that was attributed by CONECA's Dr. James Wiles as having a reverse design thought to have been discontinued at the end of 1988. The auction details can be viewed at the following link:

There is also an active auction for a true modern rarity being conducted on ebay right now. It ends on November 25th. It is for a 1988 Lincoln Cent that has a reverse design variety that didn't see widespread use until 1989. This coin is extremely rare with only a fourth example just having been reported. The variety was first discovered in the spring of 2007 and reported in Coin World's Collector's Clearinghouse August 27th, 2007 edition. This coin is a sleeper. When it makes the fifth edition of The Cherrypicker's Guide it's value should appreciate nicely. Take a look. Go on to ebay and search "RDV-006".
