thank you, i enjoyed acquiring these coins. i really enjoy these 3 designs the most of the US coins, it seems odd they were released in the same year. i guess Robert Wooley and i have similar artistic tastes in coins. i'm looking forward to expanding my collection. there are a limited number of AU coins i can afford in the WLH series, but i'll do my best.

All the coins of that time are great designs, even the original 1909 version of the cent had a nice look to it, but even though the obverse is still the same, it mutated over the centuries into crap, like a Farrah Fawcett.

The Bison reverse nickel was the best nickel design

    Merc dime is OK

    SL quarter is a fav

    WL half is best half

    21 Peace $ is awesome

and the gold is all A+

Coins from then, are like Rock from the 60's, classic and never to be equaled again.

that SLQ is EF-40 at best. i need to replace it in the set with an AU-50 or better SLQ. that will probably happen in 2 weeks or at Baltimore in June when i can leverage a deal with my dad.

Steve, those are very nice coins. The Dime looks like it has a mintmark, possibly a 'D' mintmark (found at the bottom by the base of the twig on the reverse).

Great set & very, very nice SLQ. Not common to see those coins that nice. Thanks for sharing.

I love those SLQ's. Beautiful coin. Common date on the 26, but looks like a perfect original problem-free vf-35, can't quite go EF-40, but close. You can get a common type 2 example in like MS-63 for a few hundred for a type coin, but try to make the date set in strong VF-35, that's big bucks ! I'd keep that strong VF slider/EF-40 one... its not an easy coin to replace looking that good... keep it unless a buyer wants it EF-40 price, its real solid.

i won't be selling the SLQ, just getting and AU-50. the Mercury is a D and the mint mark and E look to be missing as a result of die polishing. i'm hoping to add both an SLQ and WLH from 1929 - the last year of carefree living for much of America for almost a decade.
