    Hi all,
I was just at a friends house and he showed me his currency collection and i must say they were very interesting, so much so that i'm now going to collect bills as well as coins. Does any one know of a forum( half as good as this one i hope) that covers currency.

BTW. Can anyone tell me is the best magnification/ tool to use for looking at coins. keep in mind that i'm 44 and the peepers are not what they used to be.

    Thank you
    KARL

That would be how "close" you want to look at any specific coin. I use a small 10X normally but go to a very small 20X when I am really looking, especially at key dates, that could have been altered. The choice is yours!

I strongly recommend the Bausch & Lomb 5x loupe. It can be found HERE Do a search of the forum using the word loupe or magnifier and you will find quite a few discussions of this subject.

As for the currency post any questions or comments right here on Coin Talk. There are several members here who collect currency as well as coins ;)
