I bought Getting Your Two Cents Worth by Kevin Flynn and Robert Paul. In part I got it because it's newer (1994). Without having the one you're looking at to compare with, I can't give a valid opinion.
I have this book as well and it's very informative. Contrary to what some may believe I'm not a book reading junkie I'm a Two Cent Junkie. If you really want to delve heavily into any subject buy more books when the price is right. A lot of what I have learned about Two Cent Pieces has been through observation and owning them.
I toyed with the idea of trying to pick up as many of the varieties listed in Flynn's book as I could find. But then decided there are other coins I rather have first. So I stopped with one of each of the business strikes.
I have that book, it was a good learning exercise to work through his system. But I prefer the book Kanga recommended, Getting Your Two Cents Worth by Kevin Flynn and Robert Paul. Great illustrations to see what the text refers to and to compare to what you have in hand.
