Hard to find details about when this set was sold. Nothing on eBay and a quick google search shows one auction in 2013 but it didn't not have the Carson city $20 coin. Here are some individual pictures. The $20 coin has a nic in the rim of the coin. Looks like it was dropped or somebody though it was plated and wanted to test the inside of the coin. Better to keep it as a set or sell individually. I know the Carson city only had 91k minted.

Since Capital Plastics is known to make custom holders, it's very possible that this case was made for an individual collector. Chris
If you are selling, I would break up and sell individually. More people can afford a single coin than the whole set, so you will have more competition for them. Then you can probably sell the holder for a decent amount too.
Yeah. I wanted to kill the guy for doing it. I can't be mad because of that move I got them all for spot. Any idea on the value? Not sure whether to sell or hold.
I seen on of these sets with a COA from International Coins and Currency. It looks like they put together random coins and made a nice plastic holder and sold them as sets. Somehow a CC was put in the set.
These are cool coins and a great set. I think I'll display my Type Set (decades from completion) in a capital plastics-style holder.
Set assembled by a promoter who had some Capitol Plastics holders made and printed some meaningless COAs. If you want to sell them, sell them separately. The mark will kill the value of the 90-CC, but I don't know that it'll bring it down to melt.
