Fellow Group Members: Please join Connor1 and I on congratulating the 2009 Award Winner, Darryl-USS656! The Presentation on David Rittenhouse received the majority vote from our panel of Judges. While the judges remarked on how difficult it was to choose from the presentations, I am in accord with them. All of you did a Great Job and the information was so well received by our Coin Talk Peers and General members. Your contributions speak volumes for the Paper Money forum @ Coin Talk. Darryl (USS656) It is with honor that Bob and I award you with the 1st Annual Security Engravers Group Presentation Award. Thank you RickieB, Connor1, and to the judges that went through all of the presentations to help pick their favorite. I think if either of you (RickieB or Connor1) were in the mix that you both would have gotten more votes than I could have. Also, thanks should go out to all of the members of the group that also had really great and informative presentations! Already we have started 2010 with a presentation that is really outstanding! For all of the great informative threads clinker has posted on CoinTalk, I am glad to have felt like I contributed a little to this great community! Best Regards ~ Darryl
Congrats Darryl, and thank you, and all the other members for the great presentations! And a big thanks to RickieB and Connor1 for starting everything :thumb:!
Congrats Darryl.. You can send the bribe money to: Jk of course.. was a good job by all of you. I, as a judge learned from everyone of them and yes it was a hard choice to pick one. I commend all of you in your writings and research and look forward to reading more in the upcoming year.
Congrats Darryl! All of you guys are sharing so much. It's really tremendous to see your presentations and paper collections. I'm really soaking it all up. A 2010 resolution of mine is to study more in depth about currency and related topics. Exposure to the Paper Money threads so far has me reading books on currency, watching auctions, bookmarking paper info and grading web sites and expanding my understanding of currency. Thanks to all.
Thank you!!! Everyone did a great job and I look forward to reading everyones work this year! BR ~ Darryl
