Why is there absolutely no detail on the horse? It just looks so weird, like it was a grease filled die or something.

It is the ugliest quarter so far in my opinion. It looks like somebody decided to just copy the license plate and stick it on the quarter. No imagination, no thought put into the design at all.

I think its alright. Ive been to Wyoming once and it pretty much describes it. Dull
They should have added the Jackalope . Now that would be wicked awesome

that sillouette is their state thing, quite unimaginable of them. Back in 99 my friend cody who was from montana, told me he knew exactly what his state would put on their coin and boy was he right.

But Montana has a cow skull on their quarter. What does that have to do with the bucking bronco sillouette?

Because that is the way Wyoming designed it. All five of the finalists were some version of that design, although one of them did have details on the horse and cowboy.

It's going to make grading the circulated one interesting in the future. Reverse goes in steps MS, AU, G, AG. Actually this will be like the 1922 "P" cent you grade it from one side only.

:goofer:They made the quarter that way so you can cut out the horse and stick them on their mud flaps:rolling:
