    Wife pulled a big pile of coins from my change jar to teach the kids about money, counting, etc. I happened to be walking around the kitchen and looked in the jar of them. Right on top was a BU 1943 steel cent, nearly perfect condition except for a little bit of rust starting on the reverse as typical of these.

    Wonder if it was part of the release of coins they did last year.

    I thought it was funny a nearly 50 year collector completely ignored getting a BU steel cent in change at some point the last couple of years! Way to be observant. :(
