After posting a few times and reading post like Notes with a Story and seeing some of the notes with beautiful women I decided to buy some Paper Money. First I found out that some really nice and beautiful notes are fairly inexpensive while common and probably not valuable they are stories to pass on to the Nephew and someday Grandkids. I have started my Paper collection with a Cook Island $3 an incredible piece of folk lore and beauty, A Bhuton Set 1,5,10,and 20, I was going to buy just the 5 but for about $1 more I got all 4 pieces and the shipping was free, a Brazil 100,000 Cruzerious just because it was interesting cheap and now I have a note with 100,000 on it, and last but not least the Thailand king 80th Birthday 1,5,10 Baht uncut sheet. If there weren't great members on CT sharing what they know with us that don't I would ahve never heard of these. While they will never pay for a college tuition or retirement they will be something to share that the kids will find pretty cool. Thanks to all of those who help all of us.

and thats what makes collecting so much fun as opposed the the 'pressures' of investing.

There are litteraly thousands of world notes that are attractive and can be bought for pennies on the US dollar - heck, i own a ton of them lol World paper money also has the expensive side (i dont own alot of those :D) but with a wide array of artwork, subjects, people ect .... it can be alot of fun!!!
