I had a little trouble with my posting yesterday of my mystery Mexican coin. As a result, I think the moderators have deleted both of my posts. But I wanted to thank the guys who commented and identified this coin (I don't remember who answered my post). The first person to comment got it. It turns out that what I have is the center portion of a bi-metal coin. Some of the most common bi-metal coins I've seen are the Canandian $1 and $2, with what looks like a silver center surrounded by a brass boarder. As soon as it was identified, it became obvious (not so obvious before help from you guys....no one got it on the White's Metal Detecting forum). Anyway, thank you again for your help. It is greatly appreciated and you guys are a wonderful source for us numskull metal detectorists.
