There are die chips above his eye and anolg bridge of nose. Big one on his cheek and then along line of mouth from nose to chin. Also some on bottom left star point. Texas has a lot of cud errors, but could not find anything similar to this
Cuds involve the rim of the coin and can be quite spectacular at times. Die chips, on the other hand, are common to all worn dies, so it is not unusual for there to be no separate listings for them. Dies wear out from any mint and any country.

Here are some Cuds from my collection.. Some beginners think that they are added metal to the planchet. Not at all. That part of the die broke away so when it strikes the blanks the metal from the planchet flows into the void.
It does appear that George has some battle scars on his face, but different lighting seems to be fooling my eyes, so I'm not positive if they are die cracks, or something else.
