There have been many threads here about 1 cent coins with state outlines, Abe Lincoln busts, JFK busts, and I think George Washington busts as well. As stated in those threads, each and every one of them is an after-mint alteration by scam artists who claim they have an enhanced value in sets - just like the gold-plated garbage.

Well if you have searched 1,000 rolls, you have searched the equivelent of .00055% of the annual production from one mint. Or .00027% of one years production. We are coming up on fifty years of Lincoln memorials. A thousand rolls is about .0000055%. When you have search 200,000 times as many rolls as you have now, you will have searched 1% of the Lincoln memorials. Is it any surprise you haven't found any counterstamps?

Odd Bruce, I've got about 5 states a JFK and a Mason symbol. You know, a venture like this could almost be profitable if there was some sort of contest or something hey? To get ALL 50 states in circulation! Or something! hehehe

    101,
A 1000 rolls is just a figure of speech, like saying I have done that a million times before, sorry if I mislead anyone.
