    Hey Ya'll
Here is a new one for me....I'm upgrading part of my set of Proof Franklins and just got this off a friend....maybe I'll get it in hand next week.

Whats the grade??? and no that isn't a fingerprint under the LIB......its just the way the camera took the photo

I just got back 12 proof franklins... so maybe I have some idea of how these are grading out...
Looking at the pic, unless I'm missing something, I'd say CAM66 or CAM67 maybe, depending on who you grade with. NGC is really tough on cameo's I found on Franklins. I had some with this much cameo not get designated...

    Leadfoot there is no spoon

Looks like some hairlines on Franklin's cheek.

    I'll guess PF 65 CAM...Mike

    I'll give it a 66CAM at it's best.
Nice 1954 either way and way to go with the purchase.
I'd like to see how that set of yours is coming along when you get a chance.

Sorry I'm just posting it.....I was up for election night with a friend....we won by 74 votes!...long night....

    Anyway....back to the coin....its a NGC PF66CAM.
I've upgraded my NGC PF66 to this one....someday I'll post photos of the whole set but its still in the making.
I hope to upgrade a few more and get the last 2 I need and call it complete.

On Proof coins the FBL don't come into being....its the same way with FS and all of the other things....if its a Proof that doesn't count in the grade.

Speedy, is this a set that you're planning on keeping long term?

One of these days Speedy you're gonna cross us up and post a proof Franklin that isn't a 66, but until then, I'm gonn guess 66 (+-Cameo) every time! LOL

It is a really nice looking coin! Nice upgrade.

Hey Cave Troll....yep...that is about right....I've had PF67's and lower graded proofs before but I've sold them all.....right now they are all PF66....

Hopefuly as long as I live....I want this to be a one of a kind set....I'm going to keep on upgrading till I get them all in that Proof look....as you know the older 1950-1952 dated coins are harder to find with the Black and White look.....hopefuly my set will be totaly that way someday.
Im not going to do the whole set in CAMEO but would like a few more....I have a PF66* one that I'm going to replace for a PF66CAM sometime and a few more that I want with CAM.
The next one on my list to upgrade is my 1953 PCGS PF66 to a PF66CAM....

Also I've been working on changing all over to NGC slabs for the set....I had mixed slabs but most of them were NGC so I've been buying NGC ones to change from the PCGS ones I have and will sell the PCGS slabs sometime....

The Hairlines are on the slab as the coin is clean....it is such a NICE upgrade for my little set!!!
