Whats up havnt been around for awhile since busy but thought I would let you in on something and see if anyone else has heard about it. The canada mint produced a Terry Fox coin for regular circulation in which there has been discussions of an error coin. I searched these forums but did not seemto see anything about it. Anyways in some of the coin papers here in canada there has been a bit of discussion about an error found on this coin in which some of the detail is missing on the side which has terry fox. It has been known to be called teh no grass variant and can be worth a few bucks. Right now they are being listed at $23.00 CDN for a B.U. (brilliant uncirculated) version. I have known about this for a few months so sorry about the late post just been so busy. Anyways the error (so called error) can be located at teh grass line in front of terry's front foot at the sock line. I have attached a picture. Sorry for the quality but it is in a sleeve. Also wished I had one with grass to compare but never kept one. Anyways I circled (square) in red around the error and if you look closly you will see a bit of grass in front of the error but it doesnt continue.
I had bought a BU roll of these for my wife, who is now a permanent resident of the U.S. He was a role-model for her during her teens. Thanks for the info, I'll let her know and see if she wants to rip into her roll and look
Not positive on this since i know some of teh rolls lately from canada mint have teh open end so should be able to just look at one of the ends. Also if one in the roll most likely all have since every roll we have had so far that had this error the whole roll had.
Realize that there is two grass lines on e above each other. Where I have done the red square is teh spot that needs to be cheked.
