Many CT'er's aren't fond of coin videos. There is nothing wrong with your video. It's just that this information can be easily looked up. The nice thing about it is, you have made a video of the desirable WL's in the series. It's good for a beginner. The trouble with these types of sites is, it's usually written by someone who has no knowledge of numismatics.

 

Given, this one is nowhere near as bad as some of the others, but I wouldn't go as far as to say there is "nothing" wrong with it.

I would, most respectfully, argue that it's not good for the beginner, and for essentially the same reason as you later stated. This isn't much better than the blind leading the blind through a minefield. The last thing a newbie should do is listen to another newbie who barely knows what he's talking about yet presents himself as if he does. Poor and/or misleading information is probably the biggest avoidable reason people leave or turn sour on this hobby, yet this young fellow seems more than happy to contribute to the problem as long as he gets his attention. If you haven't yet done so, SH; check out some of the other videos... it's really very sad.

 

Show me pictures.......not moving pictures. And for Gods' sake, keep everything in focus......

 

I should have clarified better. Good in the sense that it's a short list of desirable coins. That's it. I haven't checked the other video's yet. I am multitasking at the moment, lol.

 

If you do check them out, prepared to cringe (or worse), my friend...
