    Cool! But since 1984 was 30 years ago, and the average factory wage in America has been about $15 per hour over that time, the mere half million dollars in reported sales barely makes a living. Add in the cost of equipment and expertise and the 30 years of work and you realize that treasure hunting is all about the hunting, with the treasure almost a secondary motive.

    I'd bet there have been people who have spent most of their lives just trying figure out who bought the treasure to Oak Island. And they don't even have an answer let alone any treasure.
