Well, you do have the clip as evidenced by the Blakesley Effect at the "LI" of LIBERTY, but it also looks like there is damage on the reverse rim at 12 o'clock as evidenced by the flat spot on the obverse rim at 6 o'clock. Chris
That's not damage . . it's a second clip. There is very slight Blakesley effect opposite that clip as well.
I'm still not convinced. It looks like the rim has been mashed at 12 o'clock on the reverse which caused the rim at 6 o'clock (same position) on the obverse to become flattened. Chris
The rim tapers exactly as it should at all locations. I see no reason to question this coin as being a double clip.
