I am sure they are - I have never used any of the major auction houses. I just thought I would mention the open forum here first? Might save some fees.

Yes. I have sold over 100 there with no problems.

Mark_h is right; there are other avenues which might save you a buck or two, but the big auction houses have a lot of exposure. Your coin gets seen by a lot of folks. Sometimes paying the commission actually leaves you ahead, since you might get a better price.

Yes. It is better for some coins than others. In particular, their modern coins do pretty well from what I see. Regardless, TT is a reliable way to sell your coins.

I have never used Teletrade to sell my coins, but I do use them the most often when buying on line. Personally I feel that they are the easiest to navigate and easiest to use. I may actually consign some coins to them because they are running a half off special on all new consigned coins until the end of September.

I have used Teletrade for several years for buying - I haven't been selling much lately...

    No problems..

I've purchased a few coins from them, never sold anything, and they're reliable and easy to deal with.

Yes, Teletrade is a good place to sell coins. Depending on what you have, you can get an excellent price. Obviously, rarer coins or coins with rainbow toning will see a lot of action. Common coins may go for a discount.

I recommend placing a minimum bid on your coin so that it doesn't sell for a very low price. Set your minimum bid reasonable and low. That's how I do it. If the coin doesn't sell, they place it in up to two more auctions, so you have an excellent chance of getting a fair price for the coin. Remember, that's a fair price... not necessarily the price you want.

There are seller's fees and buyback fees, but they're very reasonable. And when I've contacted them with questions, they've been very responsive and helpful.

You can also send raw coins to Teletrade and get a discounted price on slabbing by either PCGS, NGC, or ANACS. Not bad.

    I'd go ahead and sell.

    Good luck.
