In Kansas, you still must pay sales tax on certain numismatic items. In many of the surrounding states, you don't. I'm going to the Baltimore convention and I'm trying to figure out if Maryland is a tax exempt state or not so I know how much money I plan on spending. Anyone know or at least know where I can find out?

No idea about Maryland but I know in Texas you have to pay tax UNLESS your total is over $1000. I wish I was rich enough to spend over 1k at a time on coins :(

Find a coin shop in that state by looking online and call and ask them. I know AZ and NV are tax exempt on numismatic items....not sure about anywhere else.

No tax on coins in Missouri. Sorry, I have no idea about Maryland.
