Hi, these V-Nickels appear to have tape residue across them. Unfortunately, these are the only pictures I have (can't tell varieties/mints).

How much would these coins be worth under these conditions?

Also, can the tape be removed without further reducing value?

I think a soak in acetone would get the tape and residue off, but I think you will still be able to tell where the tape was due to the difference in toning.

Thanks, do you know what their value would be?

I think these would grade as good, because you can only see the shape of Lady Liberty's head.

In that condition - even after an acetone bath - collectively, all three coins wouldn't be worth more than a couple bucks...

Assuming the 1883 is the w/out "CENTS" variety. If the coin reads "CENTS" on the reverse at 6 o' clock, add a few more bucks to my previous estimate. :)

You could try a citrus based gum and adhesive remover. I've used it before.

An acetone bath should only help the value.
