Every once in a while I hit Vons Supermarket up for a few rolls of pennies. (2 today). This is what I found in the second roll. 8 1964 D's, whith and intense orange color, all in awesome condition. Someone must of decided to minimise their collection. Not sure about the color, but 1964 D does not show much on the red book. But I like them anyway.
forgot to mention the doubling Most of them have doubling on the obverse. especially in the face. I have a few with doubling on the reverse in one cent, the memorial etc..
two rolls 9 finds went to the supermarket, decided to bug the cashier for two rolls of pennies, this is what I found. 9 1964 D 6 DD Obv's and all in great condition. Some one decided to downsize their collection. They where all in the same roll.
I found part of someone collection Went to the supermarket and decided to bug the cashier for some pennies. I didn't want to push my luck, so I got two rolls. This is what I found in my second roll. 9 1962 D, shiney orange, some DD's and in great condition. This is what makes cherry picking worth the effort. Now, can anybody help me find out what my 1.00 investment had made these worth. Please do not post the same thing in multiple threads.
