With shipping he'll pay $10.75, if you add insurance total cost to the buyer should hit about $12.00-$12.50 or so. The latest CDN I have shows $8.00 ask, so the coin itself is a good price.
I seriously doubt the copper nickel CLAD HALF DOLLARS were $35 from the Mint. OK found the price from the Mint in an Oct 14 2008 press release. Price from the Mint was $8.95
You are thinking of the SILVER dollar. But I think that the clad halves are cool also (I bought one).
