taking pictures through slabs?

    I was wondering if anyone knew certain techiniques or something of taking picture though a ngc or pcgs slab with a camara not a scanner

    The only things I would mention is make sure you focus on the coin, not the surface of the slab. Also, understand that light reflects of surfaces such as glass and plastic, so a slight tip (angle) to the light source will prevent the light from showing in the photo (and blowing out the coin).

    Other than that, general macro and light placement techniques apply.
