...to either NGC or PCGS (don't care which). The problem is, is I have a single world coin that may grade very high, but because of the annoying "5 coin minimum", I'm going to need someone else to work with here. Where can I go to to find a reputable submitter? What can I expect?

    rickmp Frequently flatulent.

You could submit in a higher tier with no minimum for a slightly higher price.
For world coins, NGC has no minimum in standard tier or higher. $35 and up. http://www.ngccoin.com/services/services.aspx

I could be wrong in my belief that PCGS has no minimums.

That may be the best idea! Didn't think of sending it through a higher tier!

fill out paperwork, stuff coin (and paperwork) in box, ship. Bite nails for 2-4 weeks waiting for e-mail and coin to return.. Is easy :D

Almost forgot if not charge card include fat check/money order in box stuffing step :D

Depending on the coin, you may need to submit in the higher tier anyways. PCGS only lets you submit in the really cheap tiers if the value of the coin is under certain amounts. Would need to know what coin you have and what you estimate the value to be before providing the best advice on how to submit.

NGC says (and I'm paraphrasing here) "We have the right to charge higher fees if your coin after grading is found to be higher than the originally selected tier". The reason I want to send in my coin is because I want to:
    1) Get it in one of those spankin' slabs
    2) Show off its awesome obverse toning
    3) Protect it in a slab
    4) Possibly try for the "finest known position" (only 3 others certified and this piece may match or beat the only '67 with a 67*)
    5) Pretend that I am an accomplished coin collector having sent in my first submission

I've never submitted a coin to a TPG for grading, only re-holdering. For me it was just enter all the information to the online submission form, print that, sign that, stuff that with the slabbed coin in a envelope, print the label and off it goes. Comes back all nice and snug :D

Do you have a NGC/PCGS authorized dealer in your area? Most dealers will submit coins for you, only downside is you might have to pay a few more bucks.
    NGC: http://www.ngccoin.com/services/dealer-listing.aspx
    PCGS: http://www.pcgs.com/dealers/

Also, you need to be a paid member to submit coins directly to NGC/PCGS, unless you're a ANA member, then you can submit coins directly to NGC under your ANA membership.
