Here's the one for the day people. I almost made the stupid mistake of putting this up at a really low price and getting burned until some kind gent messaged me and offered $650.00 for it. I immediately took it down and told him I need to look into this. I imagine if he offered that much it could be worth over a grand. Thoughts?

I also don't quite understand the terminology yet of Y-453 or AY-1087...can anyone enlighten me?

It is 2019 Krause World Coins catalog number Y#453, 10 Cents, China/Szechuan Province, silver, 1912, mintage-370,000

    grade/value
    VG8-$13.00 F12-$37.50 VF20-$80.00 XF40-$200.00 MS60-$400.00

guessing on the grade as being VF-XF ? wait for more opinions on grade.
If you can get $650 for it take it.

The AY-1087 is probably a number reference in another Chinese catalog.

Wow thank you...so maybe I should jump on the $650 offer? No chance of it being any higher than that perhaps? Maybe if it is graded it will increase the value?

Wait for Chinese coin collectors in here to answer that. If it were me I would take that $650 offer and run. I do not know the current market value of this coin. It could be a hard coin to find in the market place. The mintage number of 370,000 does not make this coin that scarce. Where did you get this coin ?

My stepfather was a dealer. He collected since he was 10. This is part of his collection.
