Beautiful presentation as usual Zohar. Although I don't collect these I really do admire the workmanship and beauty of them. My favorite is the 1949 medal R-776A. Thanks for posting them, and congratulations on your new pickups.

As always, Zo, you have acquired some wonderful medals. However, I think you must have already acquired possibly every shooting medal from the 17th through 19th centuries, because now you're resorting to buying "moderns". LOL! I really am envious, though!

    Numismania You hockey puck!!

Is there a reason why they all couldn't be put in the same slab type? You've got 3 different types...the older type, the prong type, and the type with the clear ring. Doesn't make sense...if they were all on the same sub, you'd think they would all be in the same type. It's obvious they are the same submission, yet, why use different types? Understood that they are different sized medals, and the 50mm's seem to be in the 'hockey puck' holders, but I'd be pretty bummed with the differing slab types.

I'm not knocking the medals, themselves...they are quite cool, to be honest, but you'd think NGC could put them all in the same type of slab.

They vary by thickness and the standard slab can not contain the 50-60mm medals. The reason for slabbing is preservation in my case.
