Apparently there is a Swiss America Sales person going around saying that people should invest in "investment grade" silver, more specifically the TPG Morgans that Swiss America has for sale, because the government is going to recall or make illegal the owning of silver coin that is not either "investment grade" or a coin that was sold specifically as a collectible, the same way they did with gold in the 1930's.

I don't really buy it, the circumstances behind the gold recall of the 1930's are completely different than today. As far as I know the US is not on a silver standard, and massive amounts of gold are not being shipped overseas. But hey, I could be wrong.

Am I missing something, or is this salesman just full of s**t, and he didn't realize that he was talking to someone who actually knew a little bit about coins. Or history for that matter...

Sounds like it's going to be another repeat of the 1980s coin market. Buy buy buy and then mass dump. Great for major investment companies as they have the funds to play us around.

    He is a salesperson.

Saying that he is full of s**t is a redundancy.
