Hi Doug ... I am a kindergarten teacher trying to sort through coins and proof sets left behind by my mom. One of her treasures was a 1883 Silver Dollar in a Swanson Lucky Buck coin pouch. This was a Swanson's promo item given to mom for collecting labels in the 50s (I think the date is right). Do you have any knowledge of the Swanson Lucky Buck? I see one currently on eBay with a starting bid of $175.00. I don't know if it will get that much. I don't find any completed sales, though. Nice coin! Someone able to tell you more about it will come by soon, give them some time.
